Lady's in waiting

Today we got given our Lady's in Waiting and got the choice out of 9.

What is a Lady in Waiting?
A Lady in Waiting is a lady who serve the Royal women wether it be a Queen/Princess or a high ranking noble woman. They where not so called servants but they where know as 'noble companions' and trusted.

Lady's in Waiting where the women who are the women most closest to Queen Elizabeth. There are different types of Lady's in Waiting;

The highest level- this was he Royal lady in waiting which were chosen from the most noble women in England. These where unpaid Ladies but gained noble status.

Lady's of the Bed chamber- these saw to the Queens intimate needs.

Maids of Honour- an unmarried lady in waiting

These women would gain status and the Queen would choose suitable men for the ladies to marry, she would also choose what the women would wear, dictating the materials and furs they could wear.
