Inspiring Poses
I have found this difficult to write about, I have found poses I have liked but I am finding it hard to write why they are inspiring, I was just draw to them, they stood out to me making me interested in the looks, they all look confident to me and these are the ones I wanted to post on my blog.
Firstly I have found an illustration in Vogue (March 1957). The woman looks elegant and the way she is holding herself makes her look confident.

The Second Image that stood out to me was from a beauty advertising campaign from ELLE magazine (April 2013) The way they are holding their heads up attracted me they also looked confident and had a mysterious look about them, but after analysing the picture it looks like they are 'bitching' about someone and then are looking over at them, this isn't the what I liked about it, but it was the fact the woman at the behind looks like she has her friends back.

Another Image I found was a Fashion editorial image. The woman's pose looks like she is on a mission she has a meaning to her stride, not like other walking images I have seen where they look as if they are day dreaming and have nothing to do but go on a stroll. The woman woman walks with confidence and looks edgy.

This One is quite different to the others, its a beauty editorial that I found on the internet. I found this quite funny looking at it, it makes the woman look like she has had a bad day and is just like 'Oh I give up' and I have been in that situation were nothing is going right for you and you just think typical always happens to me, so I like this pose as I feel like I can relate to it. But asking my house mate what she thought of the pose she said she looks bored so people see and feel differently about different images.

I Love this unposed image of Marilyn Monroe on the red carpet that I found on Pintrest. The pose is so natural, she was caught smiling but you can tell its not like the fake smiles you use to pose for photographs its a genuine smile that paparazzi have caught. The pose just looks so real compared to all other poses, she is in her natural state not a photography studio getting shot in all different poses. The natural caught off guard poses are my favourite poses which just show the 'poser' in a different light.

For my famous painting I have chosen the Mona Lisa, She looks so natural from her posture to her make-up, its not one of them silly awkward poses that women pose nowadays its her natural self. I also like the background added to the picture to make it look as if she is outside.

Searching for poses has made me realise the normal pose for any advertisement/ fashion/beauty photography isn't actually a natural pose that you would do in everyday life, they are awkward, childish poses making women look dead or a day dreamy look.
I like the look of natural and confident poses which makes the women look like they are powerful.
