Colour Matching Foundation.
Today I colour matched foundation. I think I done an okay job but I believe I can do better.
First Wash your Hands, also make sure the brushes you are using are clean.
Toughing your Make-up make sure you don't double dip your brushes into creams/gels or liquids this can pass germs.
Always protect the models clothing with an apron/ towel or tissue.
Check your models skin making sure they don't have any contraindications. Cleanse, tone and moisturise the model.

Using a spatula I scrapped some of the foundations out of the palette and mixed them onto the back of my hand. Testing the colours onto the jaw line, the colours I have matched to the models skin was Ivory and FS38. Apply The matching foundation with a flat foundation brush, starting the middle of the face and brush it out. after covering all of the face make sure to get the neck and possibly the ears. Use a buffer brush to buff the foundation out getting rid of any brush lines that you can see. Getting a small concealing brush, pick a concealer that matches the skin tone or is a shade lighter (D1 and D2) and apply the concealer under the eyes and onto any blemishes, get a small buffing brush and buff the concealer into the foundation. Getting the Puff dab it into the setting powder and with a rolling motion roll the powder all over the face. After that get a powder brush and dust over the top of the face getting off any access powder.
I believe I could have done better, I would add more moisturiser as the models skin was quite dry and also add a satin primer to help with the dryness, this will help with the application and the over all finish.
