My Portrait

So the Elizabethan portraits basically had a backing story to them and involved something that was going on at the time, I have picked this portrait as Elizabeth as a example;

I have decided this to be my portrait.
This portrait is a perfect interpretation of my University life so far, so my story behind this portrait is the fact I am outside in the country side is the fact I am from a big city (Liverpool) and have came to Southampton there seems to be much more nature about that from where I am from so that represents the more 'outdoorsy' Southampton is. The paint on my face represents the make-up course I am on and the artistic ways of the course. The paint on my clothes are the messy and laziness I have become as a student so my 'norm' is just throwing on un-ironed clothes which probably won't have been washed (sorry). Oh and the alcohol in my hand represents the cheap student nights that have taken over my life, while I have been down here I think I have already drank a whole oceans worth.. So this is my portrait and the story of my student life behind it. Also a shout out to my friend Amy for taking my excellent portrait.
