Contouring

Making sure the models face is clean and their clothing is covered before you start the make-up.

Apply the a primer then a foundation colour that best matches their skin tone all over the face, neck and ears. Powder all over the face. Apply the bronzer or brown powder under the cheekbones, side of temples, down sides of nose. This is where you should be contouring on most faces and how to create a base.

Sian had a small open cut on her jawline which was covered with a plaster but I would not have been able to do any make-up over the open wound but I could carry on with it being covered with a plaster.
