Festival of Light

Festival of Light

Today I went on a spontaneous trip to the Isle of Wight as my friend and I have never been and never had anything to do so why not?

Since it was a Sunday it was deserted, we had no where as their was minimal buses on this day and also there isn't a train on the whole island!

After a hour of walking the deserted streets and looking for things to do, we decided to walk back the ferry station and see if they knew if there was anything for us to do today, they gave us a leaflet for the Robin Williams Festival of Light, so we found a taxi number and got a taxi to the festival.

We arrived at the park and it was stunning loads of gardens and adventure climbing frames, not only for children but adults as well. I had an absolute ball, as we went into the festival of light part we got handed some powdered paint which we could throw on each other and other residence.

As we walked round the festival we got paint thrown all over us by people who also came to the festival and people who worked at the park, dressed all in black and chasing us with the paint. We ended covered in the paint head to toe.

I loved how the colours where just randomly splattered all over, it looks very artistic and would look good as a make-up look for a photoshoot. The paints where easy to wash off so would be very good to use on clothes and all over.

And YES we did have to get the ferry back looking like this,
